Is there a good quality live set of SL from the Rump Shaker/EP days?
I'd like to hear how they sounded live.

Yup.
The DVD they released in 2004 features the whole Rump Shaker lineup. Great quality but hard to find the actual DVD now, but if you want the audio, give me a little PM.
I've also got a pretty decent set from 2002 at disneyland.

I forgot they had a DVD. I'll be sure to hunt that one down. I've been on an SL kick for a little while now.

Any particular reason SL has it's own section on the board when Streetlight or the Aquabats don't when they're both friends with RBF?

Because Suburban Legends are better friends.

David Bowie should get his own section here.

I've been listening to a lot of SL lately too. I really liked them when I saw them live a few months ago.

Is this the one that's supposed to be ska, or did I miss that one?
-
December 22, 2009 at 1:01 am #24706
We all missed that one.

Well they said they're writing a ska album. But I wouldn't expect it to be all ska, but something at least different to the last couple of albums. Check their YouTube channel and have a listen.
They've been quiet for a while, hopefully they'll have something to show soon.

I was going to be all cynical and say that they may as well be a different band now with all the members they don't have anymore. But not only does it sound good, it actually sounds like EP era SL, especially the second one.
Kudos, Vincent.
